Estimations of the operator resolvent by higher order Cesàro means (Q287310)

The aim of the present paper is to study the boundedness of higher-order Cesàro means \(p\geq 2\) in terms of growth conditions of the resolvent function of a Banach space operator. In particular, the author manages to investigate the boundedness with respect to the Abel and Nevanlinna estimates and, moreover, to generalize the study for some weighted bounded Cesàro averages through the generalization of two results concerning Cesàro and Kreiss bounded operators. Furthermore, some results concerning the strong or uniform convergence of the above-mentioned weighted Cesàro averages are investigated.
