Prototypical circuits with oscillatory hierarchical sequences, bifurcations and fractal properties (English)
0 references
Two dual oscillating circuits are presented in this paper. The circuits are treated as two coupled oscillators. The bifurcation patterns are shown to be of the Farey sequence structure and the circuits' dynamics is of a fractal type. New estimates for the circuits' fractal dimensions are given. Analysis based on numerical calculations confirms a close relationship of the circuits' bifurcation patterns with those of Ford circles and Stern-Brocot trees.
