The book is about the life and scientific activity of the prominent scientist of the 21-st century Mykola Mykolaĭovych (Nikolaj Nikolaevich) Bogolyubov (8.08.1909-13.11.1992) who created the well-known scientific schools in the fields of nonlinear mechanics, theory of dynamical systems, theoretical physics. There are described, in a popular form, some of the scientific results by M.~M.~Bogolyubov which made great influence on developing of mathematics, mechanics and physics.NEWLINENEWLINE With a supplementary essay on N.~N.~Bogolyubov and statistical physics by \textit{V.~S.~Vladimirov} ``Nikolaĭ Nikolaevich Bogolyubov -- mathematician, the grace of God'' (with a list of 41 references) and an essay by \textit{A.~M.~Samoilenko} ``N.~N.~Bogolyubov and nonlinear mechanics'' (with a list of 295 references), For more details see the collections of papers: \textit{N.
