Let \(G\) be a Specker lattice ordered group generated by the Boolean algebra \(B(G)\). The author investigates relationship between retraction mappings of \(B(G)\) and retraction mappings of the Specker \(\ell\)-group \(G\). Particularly, there is described one-to-one correspondence between retraction mappings of \(G\) and retraction mappings of \(B(G)\).NEWLINENEWLINE Similarly, for any cardinal \(\alpha\) and \(\alpha\)-complete Boolean algebra \(B(G)\), there is one-to-one correspondence between \(\alpha\)-complete retracts of \(B(G)\) and \(\alpha\)-complete retracts of corresponding Specker \(\ell\)-group \(G\).
