The purpose of this paper is to develop robust a posteriori error estimators for elliptic interface problems with flux jumps. The residual estimator is a naturaql extension of that developed by \textit{C. Bernardi} and \textit{R. Verfürth} [Numer. Math. 85, No. 4, 579--608 (2000; Zbl 0962.65096)]; \textit{M. Petzoldt}, Adv. Comput. Math. 16, No. 1, 47--75 (2002; Zbl 0997.65123)], and the recovery estimator is a nontrivial extension of the present authors' method [SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 47, No. 3, 2132--2156 (2009; Zbl 1204.65129)]. It is shown theoretically that reliability and efficiency bounds of these error estimators are independent of the jumps provided that the distribution of the coefficients is locally monotone.
