      Summary: We study the existence and multiplicity of positive period, solutions to the nonlinear differential equation \[ u^{(5)}(t)+ ku^{(4)}(t)-\beta u^{(3)}-\xi u''(t)+\alpha u'(t)+\omega u(t)=\lambda h(t) f(u)\quad\text{in }0\leq t\leq 1, \] \(u^i(0)= u^i(1)\), \(i= 0,1,2,3,4\), where \(k,\alpha,\omega,\lambda>0\), \(\beta,\xi\in\mathbb{R}\), \(h\in C(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{R})\) is a 1-periodic function. The proof is based on the Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem.
