On a theorem of Lindelöf (Q2890380)

The authors present a new proof of the well known Lindelöf theorem. Their proof is based on the possibility of a quasiconformal extension of a conformal mapping \(f\) of the unit disk \({\mathbb D}\) to a quasiconformal mapping \(f\) of the whole complex plane \({\mathbb C}\). The corresponding auxiliary result concerning the possibility of such an extension is also contained in the work.
