This paper studies the spectral theory of indefinite second order differential operators on metric graphs. The authors develop a variational formulation, prove completeness results for eigenfunctions, and obtain a max-min principle, which is applied to obtain an analog of Dirichlet-Neumann bracketing and asymptotics for the eigenvalues.
