The present paper describes a dynamic model of a reducer with spur involute gearing. A basic attention is paid to technology of creating a model of elastic cylindrical bodies. To track the contact, the technique of setting contacting surfaces is used with the help of implicit algebraic/transcendental or differential- algebraic equations. In this case, in the computer model, the cogwheels and the gear housing remain three-dimensional bodiesNEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 1236.70003].
