There have recently been many relations between algebraic \(K\)-theory and polytopes. In this work, the authors classify a special kind of 2-dimensional polytopes, which they call a \textit{cuadrangular pyramid}. Then, they introduce an operation, which they call \textit{doubling} the polytope, \(P\), along a facet. With this information, the authors define a Steinberg group, which holds similar properties as the classical Steinberg group; in fact, in some cases, it is a generalization of this. Given this information: a polytope, \(P\), with special combinatoric properties, a commutative ring, and a doubling sequence on \(P\), there are algebraic \(K\) theory groups defined for this setup, \(K_i(R,P)\), for \(i\geq2\). The main theorem of this paper is the description of these \(K\) theory groups: Theorem. Let \(P\) be a cuandrangular pyramid, and \(R\) be a commutative ring with unit. Then \(K_i(R,P)= K_i(R)\oplus K_i(R)\oplus K_i(R)\) for \(i\geq 2\).
