SOPDEs and nonlinear connections (Q2898757)

The authors study the relation between nonlinear connections and second order partial differential equations, in the framework of Lagrangian polysymplectic approach to classical field theory due to \textit{C.~Günther} [J.\ Differ.\ Geom. 25, No. 1, 23--53 (1987; Zbl 0771.53012)].
