This paper is devoted to develop a new method of solving the inverse linear problems of geophysics. This method is based upon combination of the functional-analytical approach with the probabilistic-statistical one. The first approach supposes structuring of sets of admissible options of interpretation. The second approach includes construction the probability density function. Criterion of the best solution is based upon the minimum of mathematical expectation of errors.
