Some generalizations of quasiconformal mappings in the space defined using certain modulus estimates are studied. More precisely, a mapping \(f:D\rightarrow {\mathbb R}^n\), \(n\geq 2\), is said to be a hyper \(Q\)-homeomorphism, if the modulus of any family of surfaces has an upper integral estimate depending on \(Q\) under \(f\). It is proved that every hyper \(Q\)-homeomorphism \(f:D\rightarrow {\mathbb R}^n\) belongs to the class ACL provided that \(Q\in L_{\text{loc}}^1(D)\). Moreover, in the above case, the outer dilatation \(K_O(x,f)\) of \(f\) is majorized by the function \(Q^{\,n-1}(x)\) and \(f\in W_{\text{loc}}^{1,1}\). The results are applicable to wide classes of space mappings.
