The paper is concerned with finding periodic mild solutions for the semilinear parabolic impulsive periodic system NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\begin{aligned} x^\prime (t)&=A(t)x(t)+f(t,x(t)),\quad t\neq \tau _k,\\ \Delta x(t)&=x(t+)-x(t-)=B_kx(t)+c_k,\quad t=\tau _k, \end{aligned}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE on an infinite-dimensional Banach space \(X\), where \(\{A(t):t\in [0, T_0]\}\) is a family of closed densely defined unbounded linear operators satisfying certain compactness and regularity properties, \(f\) is its \(T_0\)-periodic perturbation, satisfying a sublinear growth condition and a local Lipschitz condition, and \(\{B_k:k\in \mathbb{N}\}\) is a family of linear bounded operators on \(X\). It is to be noted that finite-dimensional versions of this system have started recently to arise in many branches of mathematical biology, for instance when modeling impulsive vaccination, integrated pest management strategies or impulsive substrate input for chemostat cultures.NEWLINENEWLINEAfter showing the compactness of the Poincaré operator, the authors establish the existence of \(T_0\)-periodic mild solutions provided that the \(PC\)-mild solutions of the Cauchy problem are ultimately bounded by applying Horn's fixed point theorem.
