The devising of symmetric couplings of boundary element and discontinuous Galerkin methods (Q2902191)

For a Laplacian model, the authors are concerned with a general framework for the coupling of boundary element methods and various finite element methods. They provide sufficient conditions for the well-posedness of the methods and notice that the whole analysis remains valid for other elliptic problems as long as a fundamental solution is available.
