The desingularizations of closures of Morin singular sets (Q2906182)

For a miniversal unfolding of a holomorphic function germ the singular set, the so-called Morin singular set \(\Sigma _k\) is considered. The author constructs the desingularizations of the closures of these sets in terms of Turnbull higher tangent bundles. By use of the Bell polynomials the special vector bundles which represent a desingularization as the zeros of their generic section of these bundles are constructed. As the main result the relationship between the equations defining the Morin singular set and the vector bundles specifying its closure are established.
