      The anisotropic fractional maximal function \(M_{\alpha}^d f\) is defined by NEWLINE\[NEWLINE M_{\alpha}^d f(x) = \sup_{r>0}| E_d (x,r) |^{-1 + \alpha/| d |} \int_{E_d (x,r)} | f(y) |\, dy, NEWLINE\]NEWLINE where \(E_d (x,r)\) is the ellipsoid NEWLINE\[NEWLINE E_d (x,r) = \left\{ y \in {\mathbb R}^n : \frac{(y_1 - x_1)^2}{r^{2d_1}} + \dotsb + \frac{(y_n - x_n)^2}{r^{2d_n}} \leq 1 \right\} NEWLINE\]NEWLINE and \(d= (d_1, \dotsc , d_n)\).NEWLINENEWLINELet \(0<p\), \(\theta \leq \infty\), and let \(w\) be a non-negative measurable function on \((0, \infty)\). The anisotropic local Morrey-type space \(LM_{p, \theta, w,d}\) is the space of all functions with finite quasi norm NEWLINE\[NEWLINE \| f \|_{LM_{p, \theta, w,d}} = \left\| w(r) \| f \|_{L^p(E_d(0,r))} \right\|_{L^{\theta}(0, \infty)}. NEWLINE\]NEWLINE Let us denote by \(\Omega_{\theta}\) the set of all functions such that \(\| w(r) \|_{L^{\theta}(t, \infty)} < \infty\) for some \(t>0\).NEWLINENEWLINEOne of the results in this paper is the following.NEWLINENEWLINELet \(1 < p_1 \leq p_2 < \infty\), \(0 < \theta_1 \leq \theta_2 \leq \infty\), \(\theta_1 < \infty\), \(\alpha = | d | (1/p_1 - 1/p_2 )\), \(w_1 \in \Omega_{\theta_1} \) and \(w_2 \in \Omega_{\theta_2}\). Then \(M_{\alpha}^d\) is bounded from \(LM_{p_1, \theta_1, w_1, d}\) to \(LM_{p_2, \theta_2, w_2, d}\) if and only if NEWLINE\[NEWLINE \left\| w_2(r) \left( \frac{r}{t+r} \right)^{| d |/p_2} \right\|_{L^{\theta_2}(0, \infty)} \leq C \| w_1 \|_{L^{\theta_1}(t, \infty)} \quad \text{for all} \quad t>0.
