      Let \({\mathcal K}^n_o \) be the set of convex bodies containing the origin in their interior and \({\mathcal K}^n_c \) be the set of origin-symmetric convex bodies in \( {\mathbb R}^n\).NEWLINENEWLINELet \( K \in {\mathcal K}^n_o \), and \( p\) be real positive. Following \textit{E. Lutwak} et al. [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc., III. Ser. 90, No. 2, 497--520 (2005; Zbl 1074.52005)], the authors consider the so-called \textit{new geometric body} \(\Gamma_{-p}K\) defined by its radial function NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\rho^{-p}_{\Gamma_{-p}K}(u) = \frac{1}{V(K)} \int_{S^{n-1}} |u \cdot \nu|^p dS_p (K,\nu) NEWLINE\]NEWLINE for all \( u \in S^{n-1}\).NEWLINENEWLINE The main results of the paper areNEWLINENEWLINE{Theorem 1.1.} If \( 1 \leq p \leq n\), and \( K\) is not an origin-symmetric body, then there exists an origin-symmetric star body \(L\), such that NEWLINE\[NEWLINE \Gamma_{-p}K \subset \Gamma_{-p}L, \qquad \text{but} \qquad V(K) > V(L).NEWLINE\]NEWLINENEWLINENEWLINE{Theorem 1.4.} For \( K \in {\mathcal K}^n_c \), \( L \in {\mathcal K}^n_o \) \( p \geq 1 \), if NEWLINE\[NEWLINE \Gamma_{-p}K = \Gamma_{-p}L, \qquad \text{then} \qquad V(K)\leq V(L) NEWLINE\]NEWLINE with equality for \( p = 1\) if and only if \( K \) and \( L \) are translations, for \( p>1\) if and only if \( K=L\).NEWLINENEWLINE Similar results related to the notions of \( L_p\)-mixed volume and \(L_p\)-mixed affine surface area, introduced by \textit{E. Lutwak} [J. Differ. Geom. 38, No. 1, 131--150 (1993; Zbl 0788.52007)], and the second author and \textit{G. Leng} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 335, No. 1, 341--354 (2007; Zbl 1123.52003)] respectively, are obtained as well.
