Connections in the holomorphic jets bundle of order two (Q2919601)

Using the jet bundle \(J^{(2;0)}M\) of a complex manifold \(M\), whose geometry was studied by the first author [Differ. Geom. Dyn. Syst. 12, 311--320 (2010; Zbl 1209.58004)], the notion of a complex second-order Lagrange space \((M,L)\) is defined and the existence of a special complex nonlinear connection provided by a complex spray, deduced from the variational problem, is proved. Moreover, with respect to adapted frames of this complex nonlinear connection, there exists an \(N\)-linear connection which plays a fundamental role in the study of complex second-order Lagrange spaces.
