The aim of this work is to study the cotangent bundle of a Cartan space \((M, K)\) from the point of view of foliations. The main tools are some linear connections of Vranceanu type and some basic connections adapted to a natural subfoliation. Also, some aspects concerning the cohomology of the \(c\)-indicatrix cotangent bundle are analyzed.
