The authors propose what they call an ``all purpose method'' which involves the Dirac delta distribution, and they use their strategy to compute Fourier and Laplace transforms. Also, they show how to use their method in the computation of integrals on the real line or the half-line, and discuss how their proposal can be useful in the analysis of some aspects of Euclidean quantum field theory.
