Let \(H(B_n)\) denote the space of holomorphic functions on the unit ball \(B_n\) of \(\mathbb{C}^n\), \(n\geq 1\). For \(p>0\), \(\mathcal{N}_p(B_n)\) is the space of \(f\in H(B_n)\) such that \[ \|f\|_{\mathcal{N}_p(B_n)}^2 = \sup_{a\in B_n} \int_{B_n} |f(z)|^2 (1-|\Phi_a(z)|^2)^p\, dV(z)< \infty, \] where \(dV\) is the normalized Lebesgue measure on \(B_n\) and \(\Phi_a\) is the automorphism of \(B_n\) which permutes \(a\) and \(0\). For \(q>0\), the growth space \(A^{-q}(B_n)\) consists of those \(f\in H(B_n)\) for which \[ \|f\|_{A^{-q}(B_n)} = \sup_{z\in B_n} |f(z)| (1-|z|^2)^q < \infty. \] Given a holomorphic map \(\varphi: B_n \to B_n\) and \(u\in H(B_n)\), the weighted composition operator \(W_{u, \varphi}\) is defined as \(W_{u, \varphi}f(z) = u(z) f(\varphi(z))\), \(f\in H(B_n)\), \(z\in B_n\). The authors estimate the essential norms of the operators \(W_{u, \varphi}\) mapping \(\mathcal{N}_p(B_n)\) into \(A^{-q}(B_n)\).
