Calabi-Yau manifolds are well studied because they are expected to be the compact part of the universe's spacetime in some versions of superstring theory. One of their many (more or less equivalent) definitions is that there exists a non-vanishing holomorphic \((n,0)\)-form. The real part of such a form (after twisting by a phase \(\theta\)) is an example of a \textit{calibration}. Special Lagrangian submanifolds are those for which this calibration restricts to the volume form. It is definitely of interest to study special Lagrangian submanifolds of Calabi-Yau manifolds.NEWLINENEWLINEPreviously, the first author and \textit{T. Sakai} [Tohoku Math. J. (2) 64, No. 1, 141--169 (2012; Zbl 1242.53058)] studied special Lagrangian submanifolds of \(T^{*} S^n\) that are invariant under the action of \(\mathrm{SO}(p) \times\mathrm{SO}(n+1-p)\). Their technique involved reducing a PDE to an ODE. In this paper, that technique is leveraged further to generalise the aforementioned result to an arbitrary isotropy action of Riemannian symmetric spaces of rank two (Theorem 5.2).
