Bounds for the product of modified Bessel functions (Q304032)

The paper under review presents and improves some monotonicity properties as well as various (upper and lower) bounds for the product of modified Bessel functions of the first and second kind. The authors demonstrate very technical proofs based on some known bounds as well as on the integral representation of the product of Bessel functions of the first and second kind. The authors prove further a strict log-convexity property for the function in question which provides a Turán-type inequality for this.
