Sharp boundedness and continuity results for the singular porous medium equation (Q312269)

The authors consider a boundary value problem for the singular nonlinear inhomogeneous porous medium equation \(u_t=\mathrm{div}\,A(x,t,u,Du)+\mu\). The operator \(A\) is subject to some growth and ellipticity conditions. The special case of \(u_t=\Delta\,u^m+\mu\) is considered together with the general case. The goal of the paper is to establish sharp regularity results (boundedness and continuity), similar to those valid for the heat equation, in terms of the right-hand side \(\mu\).
