    It is well known that, for every \(m\)-homogeneous polynomial \(P:\mathbb{C}^n\rightarrow \mathbb{C}\) there exists a unique symmetric \(m\)-linear form \(L:(\mathbb{C}^n)^m \rightarrow \mathbb{C}\) such that \(P(x)=L(x,\dots,x)\). Also, there is an estimation of the norm of the linear form in terms of the norm of the polynomial: \[ \sup_{\|x^{(k)}\|\leq 1} |L(x^{(1)},\dots,x^{(m)})|\leq e^m \sup_{\|x\|\leq 1} |P(x)|. \] On the other hand, every \(m\)-homogeneous polynomial \(P:\mathbb{C}^n\rightarrow \mathbb{C}\) has a unique representation of the form \[ \displaystyle P(x)=\sum_{1\leq j_1\leq \ldots\leq j_m\leq n} c_{(j_1,\dots,j_m)} x_{j_1}\cdots x_{j_m}. \] Then, the \(m\)-form on \(\mathbb{C}^n\) defined as \[ \displaystyle L_P(x^{(1)},\dots,x^{(m)})=\sum_{1\leq j_1\leq \dots\leq j_m\leq n} c_{(j_1,\dots,j_m)} x^{(1)}_{j_1}\cdots x^{(m)}_{j_m} \] is (in general) not symmetric and satisfies \(L_P(x,\dots,x)=P(x)\). The paper under review is devoted to estimate the norm of the \(m\)-form \(L_P\) in terms of the norm of the polynomial \(P\). In fact, Theorem 1.1 states: There exists a universal constant \(c_1\geq 1\) such that, for every \(m\)-homogeneous polynomial \(P:\mathbb{C}^n\rightarrow \mathbb{C}\) and every \(1\)-unconditional norm \(\|\cdot\|\) on \(\mathbb{C}^{n}\), \[ \displaystyle \sup_{\|x^{(k)}\|\leq 1} |L_P(x^{(1)},\dots,x^{(m)})|\leq (c_1 \log n)^{m^2} \sup_{\|x^\|\leq 1} |P(x)|. \] Moreover, if \(\|\cdot\|=\|\cdot\|_p\) for \(1\leq p<2\), then there is even a constant \(c_2=c_2(p)\geq 1\) for which \[ \sup_{\|x^{(k)}\|\leq 1} |L_P(x^{(1)},\dots,x^{(m)})|\leq (c_2)^{m^2} \sup_{\|x^\|\leq 1} |P(x)|. \] The way the authors obtain the result using the theory of Schur multipliers and the norm estimates for the main triangle projection due to \textit{S. Kwapien} and \textit{A. Pełczyński} [Stud. Math. 34, 43--68 (1970; Zbl 0189.43505)] as well as \textit{G. Bennett} [Duke Math. J. 44, 603--639 (1977; Zbl 0389.47015)].
