Consider the nonlocal problem \[ \begin{aligned} {du\over dt} &+ Au= 0,\qquad t\in [0,T],\\ u(0) &+ \int^T_0 w(s)u(s)\,ds= u_0,\end{aligned}\tag{\(*\)} \] where \(w(s)\geq 0\) is a given function, \(u_0\in X\), \(X\) is a Banach space, \(A\) is a strongly positive sectiorial operator. The authors construct an exponentially convergent approximation of a solution to \((*)\). The proposed algorithm is illustrated by several examples.
