A model of infectious salmon anemia virus is considered when a salmon farm is close to a population of wild salmon. The model is a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The authors first prove existence and uniqueness of positive equilibrium in the full system and subsystems. Then an analysis of the local stability of the equilibrium is provided. The existence of Hopf bifurcations is proved for the model system. In Theorem 5.2 it is proved that there is a parameter regime in which the system admits a positive periodic solution, but no positive equilibrium. It is shown that relatively simple system exhibits very rich dynamics.
