The purpose of this paper is to present complete solutions of fundamental principle problems and bases for invariant subspaces of the space of analytic functions in a bounded convex domain \(D\). Let \(H(D)\) be the space of analytic functions in \(D\) with the topology of uniform convergence on compacta, let \(\Lambda=\{(\lambda_k,n_k)\}\) be a sequence of complex numbers \(\lambda_k\) and multiplicities \(n_k\), and let \(W(\Lambda, D)\) be the closure in \(H(D)\) of the linear span of the system \[ \varepsilon(\Lambda)=\big\{z^n\exp(\lambda_kz)\;\big|\; k\geq 1,\;n=0,\dots,n_k-1\big\}.\tag{1} \] In Section 2, the well-known PĆ³lya theorem on the density of positive sequences is extended to complex sequences, and interesting results on the completion of sequences are obtained. In Section 3, as applications of the completion results of Section 2, starting from the exponential system in (1), the authors obtain several results on bases in \(W(\Lambda,D)\).
