The paper presents the thermal rectification effect of trapezoidal Si flack based on the phonon hydrodynamic and thermo-mass models. The phonon hydrodynamics and thermo-mass theory treat the heat conduction from the fluidic viewpoint. The phonon gas flowing through the media is characterized by the momentum balance equation. The generalized heat conduction law thereby contains the spatial acceleration and viscous terms. The viscous term predicts the size dependence of thermal conductivity. Rectification appears due to mean free path suppression of phonons. The average mean free paths of phonons suffer more restriction leading to lower thermal conductivity in the flack with wide end hotter than the narrow end.
