Cohomologies of Sasakian groups and Sasakian solvmanifolds (Q325958)

The first group cohomology of the fundamental group of compact Kähler manifolds were studied using the Hodge theory in previous works. Odd-dimensional counterparts of Kähler manifolds are Sasakian manifolds. In the present work, first cohomologies of \(1\)-dimensional representations of the fundamental group of Sasakian manifolds are studied using the Hodge theory of the basic cohomology. The \({\mathbb{R}}^*\)-symmetry of cohomologies of the fundamental group of a compact Sasakian manifold is proved. As a corollary, it is shown that Sasakian solvmanifolds are quotients of Heisenberg nilmanifolds.
