Singularities of Narasimhan-Simha type metrics on direct images of relative pluricanonical bundles (Q332200)

The author studies singularities of the Narasimhan-Simha Hermitian metric on the direct image of a relative pluricanonical bundle. The upper bound relates to log-canonical thresholds. The organization of this paper is as follows. In \S2, the Bergman kernel type metrics and Narasimhan-Simha Hermitian forms on normal varieties are discussed. In \S3, these forms on varieties with canonical singularities are considered. The main theorem was proved in \S4 and \S5. The method of proof is very direct, namely was computed the fiberwise integral by hand following the definition of the Bergman kernel and Narasimhan-Simha type metrics.
