Let \(D\) be an integral domain. A nonzero ideal \(A\) of \(D\) is called a valuation ideal if there exists a valuation overring \(V\) of \(D\) such that \(AV\cap D=A\) [\textit{O. Zariski} and \textit{P. Samuel}, Commutative algebra. Vol. II. Princeton, N.J.-Toronto-London-New York: D (1960; Zbl 0121.27801)]. A nonzero ideal \(A\) of \(D\) is a \(t\)-valuation ideal if there exists a \(t\)-linked valuation overring \(V\) of \(D\) such that \(AV\cap D=A\). Let \(V(D)\) (resp., \(t-V(D))\) be the set of all valuation (resp., \(t\)-valuation) ideals of \(D\). Let \(F(D)\) be the set of nonzero fractional ideals of \(D\) over the field \(F\). An ideal \(I \in F(D)\) is said to be a \(v\)-ideal (resp., \(t\)-ideal, \(w\)-ideal) if \(I_v= I\) (resp., \(I_t=I,I_w=I)\). Let \(w-P(D)\) be the set of primary \(w\)-ideals of \(D\). Let \(D[X]\) be the polynomial ring over \(D, c(f)\) be the ideal of \(D\) generated by the coefficients of \(f\in D[X]\), and \(N_v =\left\{f\in D[X]|c(f)_v = D \right\}\). In this paper, the authors studied integral domains \(D\) in which \(w-P(D)\subseteq t-V(D), t-V(D)\subseteq w-P(D)\), or \(t-V(D) = w-P(D)\). They also studied the relationship between \(t-V(D)\) and \(V(D[X]N_v)\), and characterize when \(t-V(A + XB[X])\subseteq w-P(A+XB[X])\) holds for a proper extension \(A\subset B\) of integral domains.
