On certain missing links in the hierarchy of some compact-like covering properties (Q337995)

This paper deals with some new types of covering properties by utilizing semiopen and preopen sets. In this research work, the authors are motivated by the fact that there are some gaps (3 places as it is shown in Fig. 1 in the paper) in the diagram of the existing compact-like covering properties. For accomplishing this task, they introduce three notions, that is, \(s(\theta)\)-rigidity, \(p(\theta)\)-rigidity and \(P\)-closedness. They investigate the relationships among the introduced notions and the existing ones. Moreover, they characterize these notions and also provide non-trivial examples to substantiate these notions. The complete diagram of covering properties can be seen in Fig. 2 in the paper.
