In [Arch. Math. 52, No. 2, 132--139 (1989; Zbl 0671.16018)], \textit{L. R. Le Riche} et al. have introduced the concept of group near-ring, which has been generalised by the first author and \textit{K. S. Enoch Lee} [Commun. Algebra 40, No. 7, 2261--2277 (2012; Zbl 1257.16033)] to the generalised semigroup near-ring R[S:M] and by the second author to the generalised group near-ring R[G:M]. In this paper, the authors study the ideals of R[G:M], constructing, for each R-ideal of the base module M, two ideals in R[G:M], and for each ideal of R[G:M], two R-ideals in M. They investigate the connections between their properties, specially between their primeness.
