On the least distributive lattice congruence on a semiring with a semilattice additive reduct (Q343247)

In [Ann. Math. (2) 42, 1037--1049 (1941; Zbl 0063.00920)], \textit{A. H. Clifford} had the idea of introducing semilattice decompositions of semigroups, which has been translated to semirings by various authors. In this paper, four descriptions of the least distributive lattice congruence on a semiring with a semilattice additive reduct are given. So it is possible to characterize the distributive lattice indecomposable semirings in several ways. The authors study such semirings in some detail.
