The paper proposes an extension of LaSalle's invariant principle for periodic nonautonomous differential equations. Following the ideas of \textit{H. M. Rodrigues} et al. [J. Differ. Equations 169, No. 1, 228--254 (2001; Zbl 0974.34056)], this extension relaxes the condition on the derivative of the auxiliary function \(V\), which now can have positive values in some bounded regions of the state space. Next, the authors prove its uniform counterpart, that, in particular, can be useful for obtaining estimates of attractors which are uniform with respect to its parameters. Finally, the uniform invariance principle for periodic systems is used to study global synchronization problem of two coupled Duffing equations.
