The author described \(\{2, 3\}\)-groups in which the order of a product of every two elements of orders at most 4 does not exceed 9 (Hypothesis H) and the centralizer of every involution is a locally cyclic 2-subgroup. In particular, he proved that these groups are locally finite. Using this results, the author was able to refine the results from \textit{D. V. Lytkina} and \textit{V. D. Mazurov} [Algebra Logic 53, No. 6, 463--470 (2015; Zbl 1326.20042); translation from Algebra Logika 53, No. 6, 710--721 (2014)].
