The authors continue their research in [Houston J. Math. 40, No. 3, 751--766 (2014; Zbl 1319.53058)] and [Math. Nachr. 289, No. 5--6, 626--633 (2016; Zbl 1338.53082)] and introduce a new commuting condition between the structure Jacobi operator \(R_\xi\) and a symmetric \((1,1)\)-type tensor field \(T\), that is, \(R_\xi\phi T = T R_\xi\phi\), where \(T=A\) or \(T=S\) for Hopf hypersurfaces in complex hyperbolic two-plane Grassmannians, and \(\phi\) is the structure tensor. Using simultaneous diagonalization for commuting symmetric operators, they classify real hypersurfaces in complex hyperbolic two-plane Grassmannians with commuting condition. Before proving the main Theorems 1 and 2, they summarize basic material about complex hyperbolic two-plane Grassmann manifolds \(\mathrm{SU}_{2,m}/\mathrm S(\mathrm U_2\cdot \mathrm U_m)\) including derivation of necessary formulas and the Codazzi equation for real hypersurfaces in such spaces.
