Let \(S,Q\) be semigroups, \(G\) a group and \(S\subseteq Q\), \(G\subseteq Q\). If every \(q\in Q\) can be presented as \(q=a^{-1}b\), \(a,a^{-1}\in G\), \(b\in S\), then \(Q\) is a semigroup of left quotients of \(S\) and \(S\) is a left order in \(Q\). This is a generalization of quotients in ring theory, but a semigroup may have nonisomorphic semigroups of left quotients. Here are described semigroups which are left orders in completely 0-simple semigroups from the following classes: without similar \(\mathcal L\)-classes (\(\mathcal L\)-classes \(L,L'\) are similar if for any \(\mathcal R\)-class \(R\), \(L\cap R\) is a group iff \(L'\cap R\) is a group); without contractions (without similar \(\mathcal L\)- and \(\mathcal R\)-classes); \(\mathcal R\)-unipotent (every \(\mathcal R\)-class contains exactly one idempotent); Brandt semigroups and generalized Brandt semigroups [see \textit{M. Yamada}, Mem. Fac. Lit. Sci. Shimane Univ., Natur. Sci. 3, 1-8 (1970; Zbl 0199.33602)].
