    Let \({\mathbb R}_{0, m}\) be the \(2^m\)-dimensional real Clifford algebra. In this paper the author introduces the ``shifted Appell sequences of monogenic polynomials'' as sequences \[ \{ M_n(x)\}_{n \geq 0} \] of \({\mathbb R}_{0, m}\)-valued polynomials which are monogenic in \({\mathbb R}^{m+1}\) satisfying the Appell condition \[ \frac{1}{2} \left( \frac{\partial }{\partial x_0} - \sum\limits_{k=1}^m \frac{\partial }{\partial x_k} \right) M_n(x) = n M_{n-1}(x), \qquad n \geq 1, \] where \(M_0(x)\) is an arbitrary monogenic polynomial defined in \({\mathbb R}^{m+1}.\) Based on the Cauchy-Kovalevskaya extension technique and the Almansi-Fischer decomposition, an explicit shifted Appell sequence is constructed. The connection of this sequence with Fueter's theorem is also discussed.
