It follows from a theorem of \textit{S. H. Ferguson} and \textit{M. T. Lacey} (\(d=2\)) [Acta Math. 189, No. 2, 143--160 (2002; Zbl 1039.47022)] and Lacey and Terwilleger (\(d>2\)) (see [\textit{M. T. Lacey}, Contemp. Math. 444, 185--213 (2007; Zbl 1141.47024)]) that a little bounded Hankel operator \(H\) on the \(d\)-dimensional polydisck has a bounded symbol \(\psi\) and \(\|\psi\|_{L^\infty}\leq C_d\|H\|\) for some positive number \(C_d\). Using a method proposed by \textit{H. Helson} [Stud. Math. 198, No. 1, 79--84 (2010,Zbl 1229.47042)], the authors of the paper under review show that \(C_d\) must go to infinity as \(d\to\infty\). Thus there is no analog of Nehari's theorem on the infinite-dimensional polydisk.
