Denote by \(X\) either the unit polydisk or the unit ball in \(\mathbb C^n\), and by \(\partial X\) the torus \(\mathbb T^n\) or the unit sphere in \(\mathbb C^n\), correspondingly. Let \(d\sigma\) be the normalized Lebesgue measure on \(\partial X\). The authors consider the space \(M^p(X)\) of holomorphic functions on \(X\) with \(\int_{\partial X}\big(\log\big(1+\sup_{0\leq r<1}|f(rz)|\big)\big)^pd\sigma(z)<\infty\), which is an \(F\)-algebra under a corresponding measure. The complex-linear surjective isometries on \(M^p(X)\) have been studied previously by \textit{A. V. Subbotin} [J. Math. Sci., New York 135, No. 1, 2794--2802 (2006); translation from Tr. Semin. Im. I. G. Petrovskogo 25, 295--309 (2005; Zbl 1112.32004); Dokl. Math. 60, No. 1, 77--79 (1999); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk, Ross. Akad. Nauk 367, No. 4, 451--453 (1999; Zbl 1065.32500)]. The present authors give a complete characterization of surjective (not necessarily linear) multiplicative isometries of \(M^p(X)\) onto itself. Namely, they show that there is a holomorphic automorphism \(\Phi\) on \(X\) such that \(T(f)=f\circ\Phi\) for all \(f\in M^p(X)\), or \(T(f)=\overline{f\circ \overline{\Phi}}\) for all \(f\in M^p(X)\).
