      The authors develop and study algorithms to solve the eigenfunction problem for integral operators \((Ky)(t)=\int_0^1 K(t,s) y(s) \,ds\), \(0\leq t\leq 1\), with the kernels \(K(t,s)=| t-s|^{-\mu}\) (\(0<\mu<1\)), \(K(t,s)=t-s/2\) (\(0\leq t\leq s\leq 1\)), \(s/2\) (\(0\leq s <t \leq 1\)), and \(K(t,s)=e^{st}\). Theoretical results are illustrated by numerical experiments.
