Using wavelet expansions (decompositions) where extension or embedding matrices are required, the interference effects of two-dimensional comb structures on grids are analyzed. This happens both from the theoretical (analytical) background as well as from a practical viewpoint by providing the appropriate algorithms, especially in Sections 3, 4 and 5. The suitable embedding and extension matrices are given in explicit form in Sections 2 and 3, respectively.
