Homogenization of the two-dimensional periodic Dirac operator (Q354824)

The author considers the homogenization problem for the two-dimensional periodic Dirac operator with magnetic potential of two types: singular and nonsingular. By means of the operator-theoretic approach due to \textit{M.~Birman} and \textit{T.~Suslina} [St. Petersbg. Math. J. 15, No. 5, 639--714 (2004); translation from Algebra Anal. 15, No. 5, 1--108 (2003; Zbl 1072.47042); St. Petersbg. Math. J. 17, No. 6, 897--973 (2006); translation from Algebra Anal. 17, No. 6, 1--104 (2005; Zbl 1175.35007)], the resolvent is approximated in the space of bounded operators acting in \(L_2({\mathbb R}^2;{\mathbb C}^2)\) with order-sharp error estimates.
