A constructive method to controllability and observability for quasilinear hyperbolic systems (Q356667)

The author studies the exact boundary controllability for quasilinear hyperbolic systems, using the nodal profile method by \textit{M. Gugat} et al. [Math. Methods Appl. Sci. 34, No. 7, 745--757 (2011; Zbl 1394.76112)]. He also obtains an exact observability inequality in the 1-D case for more general boundary data. A specific geometric condition is used for the final time, similar to the classical one and related to the method used in this article.
