The paper addresses analysis of critical scaling features in correlations demonstrated by a solvable two-dimensional model of sandpiles. For the purpose of obtaining the solution, the model is transformed into one with a discrete coordinate and artificial continuous time. The correlation considered in the work is the probability that \(K\) grains preserve their initial ordering in the course of the avalanche. The master equation for this correlator is solved exactly, for infinite and semi-infinite lattices. In the absence of the dissipation, the solution takes a power-law form with nontrivial scaling exponents, different for the infinite and semi-infinite lattices. The inclusion of dissipation gives rise to exponential cut-off of the power-law solutions.
