Author's introduction: A Cartan-Tits form is a quadratic form \(B(x) =\sum_{ij} b_{ij}x_ix_j\) with coefficients \(b_{ij} = -\cos(\pi/m_{ij})\), where \(m_{ij} = m_{ji} \in \mathbb N = \{1, 2, \ldots,+\infty\}\) and \(m_{ij} = 1\Leftrightarrow i = j\). A Kac-Moody form is a quadratic form \(B(x) =\sum_{ij} b_{ij}x_ix_j\) with coefficients \(b_{ij}\), where \(b_{ii} = 2\), \(b_{ij}= 0\Leftrightarrow b_{ji} = 0\), and the \(b_{ij}\) are integers for \(i\neq j\). Nonnegative Cartan-Tits and Kac-Moody forms have been completely described (Bourbaki, Kac). In [Russ. Math. 49, No. 3, 35--38 (2005); translation from Izv. Vyssh. Uchebn. Zaved., Mat. 2005, No. 3, 37--40 (2005; Zbl 1207.11047)], the author considered a more general class of forms and found necessary conditions for forms from this class to be positive (i.e., nonnegative and nondegenerate). In this paper, a larger class is considered, namely, the class of forms with diagonal dominance. The author obtains necessary nonnegativity conditions for such forms.
