This article introduces two new Banach ideals of polynomials \(\mathcal{P}_{p \text{-}I}\)\ and \(\mathcal{P}_{p\text{-}N}\), namely \(p\)-integral and \(p\)-nuclear \(m\)-homogeneous polynomials, respectively. The authors present a rich factorization theory, among other interesting results: All polynomials \( P\in \mathcal{P}_{p\text{-}I}(^{m}E,F)\) factor through a polynomial \( R_{h}\in \mathcal{P}(^{m}E,C(K))\) of the form \(R_{h}(x)=h(x)^{m}\), where \( h\in \mathcal{L}(E,C(K))\) is an embedding and the natural inclusion of \(C(K)\) into \(L_{p}(K,\mu )\) for some measure \(\mu \). In the final section, the authors show that a polynomial \(P\) is \(p\)-nuclear if and only if \(P=Q\circ A=Q^{\prime }\circ H\), where \(Q\) and \(Q^{\prime }\) are \(p\)-integral polynomials, \(A\) is a compact operator and \(H\) an Asplund operator.
